The Best Recipe for a Broken Heart

The Best Recipe for a Broken Heart
Pain is a lesson that can help the individual to realize
He is a human with feelings,
Feelings to feel the pain,
And feelings to feel the sorrow.

The best recipe for a broken heart-
Forget the past,
Learn lesson from the past,

Think positively,
Believe in yourself,
Love and never hate yourself,
Always think innovation of yourself,
Stop comparing yourself unto others,
Instead compare yourself to your past self,
So you can be able to determine who you are
And learn to appreciate yourself.

If you have tried and met with failure;
If you have planned and watched your plans as they were crushed before your eyes;
Just remember that greatest men in all history were the products of courage,
And courage, you know, is born in the cradle of adversity.

As you sail through life,
Don’t avoid rough waters!
Sail on… because calm seas;
Never make you a skillful sailor!
Be strong always!
Because God will be your anchor!

Wish you many blessings to come and God bless!

8 Tips Healing Depression with Music

It was aptly said that music is the medicine for broken hearts. No matter how practical and analytical you are, music will touch your heart removing all the obstacles of logic. Have you ever felt how a certain track reminds you of a particular incident, or a special someone? Have you ever asked yourself why Careless Whisper makes you cry? Summer of 69 reminds you of your school days? Yes, music is much more powerful than we can imagine. Music can make us laugh and cry and remind us of our past, can make a moment special with its magical touch, even a certain melody can take us to a flashback tour. There are songs which remain very close to our hearts through out our lives, is not it?

No wonder music will be able to elevate your spirit while you are feeling blue, no matter how bad you feel. You can actually get over stress, depression and anxiety with the help of music. Could you ever imagine that music can heal a number of physical and mental problems? There are specific illnesses and conditions, like stress, chronic pain, insomnia, addictions, smoking, cardiovascular illnesses, post-traumatic-stress syndrome, panic disorder/anxiety, overweight, anorexia, bulimia, depression, low self-esteem, stress, creative or emotional blocks, anger, fear, sadness, hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder, inner child processing (adults), stress and insomnia for the pregnant woman, anxiety and pain during birth, colic and anxiety in the newborn infant, breastfeeding, emotional armor, conflicts, infertility, cancer, anger, AIDS, infection, fear, lack of self-respect, immune system suppression, scleroderma, frustration, individual transformational music, self-reflection, heightened awareness, relaxation, and inspiration. Today let me tell you how you can get over depression with the help of music;

Step 1: You need to select appropriate music for you, depending upon how you are feeling right now. If you are feeling really low, you might think that a peppy music will help you to change your mood. But the notion is wrong; it might make you feel irritated. So you need to choose a song to match your mood. You, at first, need to prepare a proper sequence so that the music can help you. You can create your own music track and save it for future use. When you are depressed, choose the song which will take you to the deepest depression and play it at first. Then the next song should be of mild depression followed by a neutral composition. Then end it with a composition which is really uplifting and motivating. This is the proper sequence of a music therapy to heal depression. You can increase the number of compositions depending on your availability of time and your personal requirement.

Step 2: You should not listen to music with your head phone; rather you should use speakers so that every cell of your body can intake the rhythm and vibration of the music and let the whole atmosphere in the room fill with music.

Step 3: Women, let your hair down, loosen your tight outfit; settle yourself down in a way that most relaxing. Men, loosen your tie knot, lie down and relax, take deep breath while you relax.

Step 4: Now close your eyes and just listen to the music compositions and let your heart, mind and soul go with it. Just release yourself from the logical bindings, set your mind free. If you feel like crying, just do it! There is nothing wrong in it, you cannot imagine how venting-out bitter and harmful emotions like anger, pain, frustration, hopelessness can heal inner wounds. So cry your heart out, I bet you will feel as if a 20 pound weight has been removed from your heart.

Step 5: You need to pre-plan your time so that you do not get interrupted till the end of this session. Make sure that you are not involved in any type of activities during the session to avoid disturbance. This will help you to receive optimum response to the transformation process.

Step 6: While you listen to the music, allow it to reach your inner self just like Enrique sings “All I need is the rhythm divine, lost in the music your heart will be mine…can you feel the rhythm!”…respond freely to it. The way of response can be different to everyone, you may experience the glimpses from the past, or visual images, thoughts, intensified emotions, sleep, physical vibration (you may feel like dancing) etc. Set yourself free and do whatever you feel like, do not restrict any emotion.

Step 7: When the music stops, do not get up and get back to your routine. Sit and enjoy the silence and give yourself time to get back from the world of rhythm.

Step 8: If you can keep a record of your daily report of your mental condition before and after the music session, to measure the improvement. Keeping record is helpful but not very important.

You will sense the difference yourself, I need not tell you how you ate going to feel after passing an hour with music. Let me tell you that a plant’s growth increases if music is played near it, even a dying sapling can be revived my music. Music is the spring of unending positive vibration and power which can comfort any ailing living being, physically or mentally. There is a very strong relationship between body and mind which we can not just deny because science has not been able to analyze it properly till now. Music heal mind and mind heals body, this is the mantra of music. Try the musical tips to heal your depression and let me know how you felt after that!

Three Tips to Help Stop Your Breakup

It's happened, you've said or done something that has gotten your significant other to the point that they can no longer stand the sight of you and you're freaking out trying to figure out how you can stop your breakup before it happens. Often, if the relationship has gotten to this point the only real way to get it back on track is time.

However, there are some things that can be done depending on the stage the relationship has fallen to. They are by no means surefire relationship savers, but they will help keep things in a positive frame and if you do stop your breakup they will help build a solid foundation for the future of the relationship.

Stop Your Breakup Tip #1

Do not run to that special person in your life begging, pleading or crying. This tactic may have worked in the past or in past relationships but it is no way to rebuild your relationship and get it standing on solid ground. The only thing this will accomplish is to ensure that you are seen as somebody who is selfish and only worried about your own needs. In addition to that, it's irritating.

Instead of going down this path, get to work on figuring out some of the shortcomings you have that may have led to what is happening now. This isn't to say that you're the reason your relationship may be breaking up; it takes two for it to get the far. What this is to say, that if you take the steps to improve yourself you will be showing your partner that you are dedicated to bringing about positive changes in your life.

Stop Your Breakup Tip #2

Give them some space and time. Now that you've decided you're going to get to work on yourself, you need to give your significant other the opportunity to do the same. Similar to begging and pleading, keeping on their case about the relationship will turn them off and give them the feeling that you are nothing but selfish. Nobody wants to be with somebody like that.

Another important result of giving them some space is that it gives them some time to wrap their brain around the situation in a way that is most comfortable to them. If they come to you then by all means carry on a discussion about the relationship but wait until they come to you and don't beg.

During the space and time process you will also be building on one of the most important basics of a relationship, trust. You will be showing your partner that you trust in their reasoning abilities and that you trust in their ability to come to a rational conclusion. The rebuilding of trust can go a long way to putting a stop to your breakup.

Stop Your Breakup Tip #3

Plan something nice but not overly romantic for them. You need to start doing things that got your relationship to the point it was at before it started heading for trouble. Whether be a night at the movies or a simple dinner at your favorite restaurant, just make sure it is something in a pleasant atmosphere without the intonations of being completely relationship based.

If you go overboard with the romance on your first time out after the big fight, you could run the risk of adding undue pressure to your partner when they are not ready for it. This, again, points to selfishness, which we have already determined goes against what your goals are.

3 Stages of Mending a Broken Heart

When you get dumped next the negative feelings start coming in to your mind. You may become suicidal or you can end up being all alone by yourself. You may end your entire social circle by not going out and not answering phone calls. This condition of depression is very painful. You may not feel like living anymore. You may want to hide somewhere for the rest of your life so that nobody would see you again.

Every single day people are getting dumped and going through breakups. It is easy to get into love but maintaining a relationship is a bigger task. You need to control your feelings and emotions if you want to have your life back to normal.

Actually there are 3 different phases you would go through when you have had a break up. Read this carefully.

Stage One - The Hurting Stage

This is the first preliminary stage after a break up. You may go through unbearable pain. You have increased heart beats all the time and you may be crying all day and night. The time that you spent in your past relationship hovers over your mind. The life seems too difficult to live and you think that it would be never possible to gain the normal life back.

You find it difficult to forget that person in your life. People start excessive drinking; some even start taking drugs to ease out the pain. Some people indulge in food and some even stop eating. Whatever it is, in this phase your life is in a miserable condition and you need to act on it immediately.

You need to cope with this situation in whatever way you can. Spend time with the friend who really cares. They can be your family members, your friends or your teachers. You should not be alone all the times. These people would be able to understand you better and could suggest good ways to you to gather the pace of life. You should pamper yourself as much as you can. Do the things that suit you best. Listen to good music, or go for long rides, exercise or do anything that helps you make your mind busy. If you end up sitting idle then again you would start thinking about your past relationship and this would make situation worse.

We meet new people daily and we end up making friends with them. You may have heard that nothing lasts forever in this world. This relationship was also to be ended and may be it was the right time.

The Second Stage - The Getting Even Stage

This is the second stage of the mending phase. In this phase all your love for your ex starts converting into anger. And then you start trying out things to make him/her hurt. You may start doing what your ex never liked. You may start dating someone just to get back at your ex. In the back of your mind you may be trying out to get your ex back. But you would keep on convincing yourself that you hate your ex.

You should be happy if you are in this stage as you have already reached the middle of the mending process. It is normal to have such kinds of feelings after having a break up. But in this overall process of being angry and getting back at your ex, please do not end up doing anything which you would regret later. Think over every step you take. You should set apart yourself from whatever belongings you have which can remind you of your past relationship. Throw away the love letters, the greeting cards, and all the dresses that were special for you. Do not keep any of these things so that you can forget every part of your past bad experience.

The Third Stage - Get over It Stage

At this stage you have almost gotten over your ex. When you get up in the morning you will ask yourself in front of the mirror why you are wasting so much time for a person who was never yours. You would start thinking about ways to start living the life afresh again.
When you are at this stage you feel that the worst has already past and you are ready to hit the road again. You should always treasure your relationships but when something starts to hurt then it is always better to stop it than to suffer later.

Having a clear cut understanding of these stages helps a person to come out of the trauma of a broken heart early. Life is full of new chances and opportunities; you just need to grab them. Don't waste your time thinking about your past relationships. Instead you should try to take a learning so that you don't make the same mistake again ever in your life.

The Heart Repair Calculator

This steps sometimes makes me a laugh. I found it from this website healmybroken.heart. But if you apply it, truely works. As i have been told by my friends, life must go on.

Short relationships (3 MONTHS OR LESS)
1. Count the number of weeks that you knew the person before the relationship turned romantic, and then divide this number by 2
2. Count the number of weeks that you were romantically involved
3. Add-up A and B
4. Count the average number of days per week you saw him/her during the romance, and divide this number by 2
5. Multiply C and D - that's how many weeks it will take to begin feeling normal

Example: Lou met Barb. After 4 weeks they started dating. They dated for 8 weeks, seeing each other an average of 4 nights per week. Then Barb left. It will take Lou's heart about 20 weeks (or just under 5 months) to recover.

Mid-length relationships (1 YEAR OR LESS)
1. Count the number of months that you were romantically involved
2. Count the average number of days per week you saw him/her during the romance, and divide this number by 2
3. Multiply A and B - that's how many months it will take to begin feeling normal

Example: Dave met Sandra. They had a passionate romance for 8 months, seeing each other about 3 times per week. Then Sandra left. It will take Dave's heart about 12 months (1 year) to recover.

Long relationships (1 YEAR OR MORE)
1. Estimate how happy you were (day to day) on a scale of 1 to 3
2. Estimate how physically attractive you found your mate on a scale of 1 to 3
3. Add up A and B - and then divide this number by 2-- this will give you a number in years
4. Subtract one year from the total

Example: John was happily married to Mary (he ranked his happiness a 2 out of 3. He found Mary very attractive, a 3 out of 3. Mary leaves. John's heart will take 1 ½ years to recover.
